Fairly clean, great value hotel, its location was particularly good and next to so many restaurants as well as liquor and beer store walking distance, Waterloo and Bingeman's Park. The room is spotlessly clean, cheap comes with appliances as well as the bathroom.

Stayed for 5 nights and was impressed by the affordable room, which was basic yet impressive for the price.

Close to traffic - so quite easy to reach.
Dirty, noisy, smelly - there's not much more to say...

Swiss Chalet was next door. WiFi access.
The carpet was filthy and worn out. The mattress on the bed was thin and uncomfortable. The pillows were flimsy. One light was broken over at the socket (looked dangerous). The furniture in the room was covered in cigarette burns. I stayed for two nights. When I left to go out the first full day I was there (and my room needed to be cleaned), I had to put my luggage in the trunk of my car as they leave the doors wide open after they clean to air out the cigarette smoke. The clientele, though some were obviously travelers, was sketchy to say the least. It was like a flop house. It is a bit of a drive from downtown Kitchener. Expensive for what it is.

I had read reviews that were very negative and I was quite apprehensive, but the hotel was clean and quiet and comfortable. It was also very good value for the money and the staff was nice. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
